Jake has reached a pinnacle year.
He turned 13 years old on Sunday!
And he couldn’t be happier!
As I have shared in the past, and what John and I continue to appreciate about our middle-born son, is that Jake is a young man of simple pleasures. Most of those pleasures center on planning a birthday recipe which centers on food, on fun, and on being with family and friends.
Here is Jake’s Birthday Recipe to Celebrate His 13th Year:
Bake up some cinnamon rolls for breakfast
Slice some bread and grate up some cheese for French bread pizza for lunch
Grill some cheeseburgers for dinner
Add in a couple of games of putt putt golf at Adventure Golf
Rouse up some antics
Mix in a few presents
Stir up some time with friends
And Jake is all set! He has created a recipe of joy and contentment to feel celebrated and loved by us all!
We love you Jake! To say you are one in a million is an understatement!
Welcome to the teen years! We pray that they grow you, fulfill you, and bless you as you follow after your Savior and Lord Jesus Christ one day at a time!
